A basic assessment of reading and math for ability-to-benefit determination is required for all full-time adult students as they prepare for training (other tests may also be required). Assessment testing is implemented to determine if the potential student needs additional instruction prior to enrollment.
A computer assessment program is one of the services available at Bridgerland Applied Technology College. Students may use the computer to match abilities, interests, and aptitudes to programs available at the College.
Not sure what you want to do? Questions concerning occupational, educational, and employment situations and financial aid are also handled during the student’s initial visit and intake.
The Assessment Center has been designated as a General Education Development (GED) testing site. The GED test allows individuals to obtain a high school equivalency certificate. For more information contact the Assessment Center at (435) 750-3188.
The Assessment Center administers testing for VUE, Emergency Medical Technician, Utah State Nurses Aide, and COMPASS.
The Assessment Center assists in the development of tests or specialized assessments to meet the particular needs of business and industry. Additionally, specialized programs can be structured to help determine the readiness for employment, schooling, or specialized training.
