Auto Upholstery (Beginning)

This course is designed to teach automotive interior restoration. Students will learn techniques for recovering and restoring car seats, headliners, door panels, carpet kits, etc. Class time will focus heavily on gaining hands-on experience and developing the skills necessary to be proficient in upholstery restoration.

 

Basic Preventive Maintenance

This course is designed for those who want to gain a better understanding of how the automobile works. The course will enable you to recognize which maintenance jobs you might perform yourself through instruction and by performing these procedures on your own car. And to identify those problems that are better left to a skilled mechanic. Tips will be given on how to recognize and prevent potential problems and how to communicate those problems to a professional.

Safety Inspection

This class is offered for technicians in the automotive repair industry who desire to do vehicle safety inspections. Upon completion of the course and with a passing grade on the exams, you will be approved to apply for a Utah Highway patrol vehicle safety inspection license. This license is required in order to do the annual vehicle safety inspections. This is the official UHP training course. Students must be 18 years old and have a valid driver's license to enroll.

This class is offered for technicians in the heavy truck and bus repair industry who desire to do vehicle safety inspections. Upon completion of the course and with a passing grade on the exams, you will be approved to apply for a Utah Highway Patrol vehicle safety inspection license. This license is required to do the annual vehicle safety inspections. This is the official UHP training course. Students must be 18 years old and have a valid driver's license to enroll.

 

Small Engine Repair

Learn maintenance, service and repair operations related to lawn mowers, tillers, and other small four-stroke engines.
